Athems Foods was founded in 2010 by the Berisha family, who immigrated from the heart of Albania with nothing but their traditions, a passion for food, and a dream of sharing their culture with the world. The name “Athems” derives from an old Illyrian term meaning "hearth" — the warm, central gathering place in every Albanian household. In our culture, the hearth represents more than a fire; it symbolizes unity, nourishment, and hospitality — values that remain the cornerstone of our restaurant today.

Starting out as a small, family-run eatery tucked away in a quiet corner of the city, Athems Foods quickly became known for its warm atmosphere, honest flavors, and commitment to authenticity.
